OPM Creator awarded Index Voucher


This pilot project invited small medium enterprises (SMEs) based in West Midlands UK to apply for an innovation voucher that they can use to purchase academic support to assist in a business innovation. A total of 80 randomly selected businesses (including OPM Creator) were given innovation vouchers to the value of £3000 each to improve their innovation capability.

We plan to use our voucher to further develop our web based project management software in line with customer feedback.

INDEX (Innovation Delivers Expansion) is a unique demand-led innovation voucher scheme led that invites Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to apply for a voucher to purchase academic support from one of the 13 Higher Education Institutions in the West Midlands. The project is funded by Advantage West Midlands (AWM), Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).

Add your own logo

Why not customise your OPM Creator system - add your own logo and more!

Its simple...
  • Login to your OPM Creator system (or free trial)
  • Go to the Administration area (top right hand side)
  • Click on the "Modify" tab.
  • Click the" browse" button to locate your logo on your computer (200 x 44 pixels max size)
  • Change the "URL to link to" to your own website address (remember to include the http://)
  • Click the "Update" button
You can also change the system colours (click on "system colours")
You can change the "intro text" (click on "intro text")

If you need any help just email us support@opmcreator.com we can even upload your logo for you if you prefer!

File upload progress bar

We have now added a progress bar to the file upload facility within projects, the progress bar shows the user that the file is being uploaded, this is especially useful for large files that can take some time to upload to the system, depending on you connection speed to the internet. We are currently working on a multiple file upload facility.... watch this space.

Activate/Deactivate Users!

You can now activate and deactivate users as you require, this way you can have an unlimited amount of users registered to your system but only the amount of users you are licensed for active at any one time.

This is ideal if you have many clients, partners or employees that need access on a project by project basis, simply activate their details for their project and deactivate their details when the project is complete freeing up the user space for another user.

Simply purchase the number of users you need active at any one time, you can upgrade your users online at any time.

New task tab

A new "Tasks" tab has now been added to the project page in OPMcreator.

This new tab will show you tasks for all projects you are authorised to view, the filter options on this page also allow you to view tasks on a project by project and/or user basis, you can also view overdue tasks as required.

File upload email feature

When you now upload a new file to a project in OPMcreator you are given the option to alter the "standard" text in the notification email before you send it. This is useful if you need to describe a file that you have uploaded to your project users.

You can change the "standard" text for the email in the "Adminstration/Modify" area of your OPMcreator system.

If you don't select to send the email to all users or select users from the list, no email notification is sent.
