Our Security and Monitoring Measures include;
- Physical Security - Our servers are located in Park Royal Data Centre (London, UK) . The server type is Cobalt RAQ4
- Data Centre Features - All our data centres are protected by stringent security precautions to control access, environmental controls to maintain peak hardware performance and emergency power supplies to ensure that our service to you is not affected by network power outages.
- Access Controls - Our data centres can only be accessed through magnetically locked doors that can only be unlocked with a special swipe card. All centres are manned 24/7, and are fully protected by CCTV. Customer access is heavily restricted and permissible only by prior appointment.
- Environmental Controls - Our servers are protected against fire outbreaks using a suppressions system designed to extinguish a fire within seconds without leaving a residue.Centres are equipped with sophisticated air conditioning systems set at 20 degrees C and 50% relative humidity to ensure the system operates as efficiently as possible.
- Power - All data centres are equipped with Uninterruptible Power Supplies to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted delivery of power to all machines at all times.In addition, every centre has backup diesel generators to keep our service to you up and running even in the event of a major power grid failure.
- System Redundancy- As part of the PIPEX Group, we control a powerful Tier 1 network with over 100 points of presence (PoPs) across the UK, and have data centres in London, Leeds, Manchester and Nottingham. We manage a Tier 1 multi-layer national network based on optical fibre and microwave and designed to be: Scalable - providing the ability to increase capacity and extend geographical reach Resilient - so you can trust us to deliver mission critical data safely utilising carrier class equipment and redundancy to maintain service.
- Perimeter Defence - PIPEX Communications monitor the entire network and will perform constant checks.
- Backups - Backups of files and data are performed nightly at 4AM (GMT). The backups are then moved to a specified backup server.
- Data Security - All customer data entered into their OPMcreator system is owned by the customer. OPMcreator's employees do not have direct access to any customer’s data or systems.No one can gain access to your OPMcreator system unless you or another administration user for your system grant them access.Users authorised to gain access to your OPMcreator system can only view projects they are added to.
- Operating System Security - The security of the operating system is based on installation of patches; these are implemented as and when they are available or released.
- User Authentication - A valid username and password are required to access any OPMcreator system. You can view a detailed list of all users logging into your system via the "user log" in your Administration area.
